The chemical name of HHO gas is oxyhydrogen. HHO gas is thought to increase the car efficiency in which it is formed by the process of water electrolysis. Once ignited, HHO converts into water vapors and releases energy, which automatically sustains the reaction.

According to this act a tax credit is subtracted directly from the total amount of federal tax owed by the taxpayer, thus reducing or even eliminating the taxpayer’s tax obligation. In case you are confused as to whether your vehicle qualifies for the tax credit, then you can also seek additional information from the car manufacturer or your local dealer.
If you have purchased, your hybrid vehicle after January 1, 2006, then you as a taxpayer, qualify for this tax credit. This tax credit is also applicable if you have placed your car in service after this date.
A hybrid vehicle is defined to have drive trains powered by both an internal combustion engine and a rechargeable battery. Also, most of the current hybrid vehicles qualify for the tax credit.
It’s important to note here that the credit is only available to the original purchaser of a new, qualifying vehicle. If a qualifying vehicle is leased to a consumer, the leasing company may claim the credit.

We are facing a huge energy crisis. The price of gas has almost doubled in America over that last 5 years while in Europe they are expected to touch $12/gallon by the end of 2008. Looking at the current trend, there are no signs that this energy crisis will end in the foreseeable future.
In fact, the entire oil crisis is quite logical given the fact that we humans have been exploiting our natural resources for the last 150 years or so. Although, at the height of industrial revolution, these resources were perceived to be everlasting, now we know for fact that this is simply not true. Moreover, there are growing concerns worldwide over the increase in green house gases due to the usage of petroleum based products.
All of this really leaves us with only one option, which is to look for alternative fuels for our energy demands. Although, the talk over alternative fuels has been going on since the early 1990’s, nothing concrete has been done in this regard.
